A 66-year-old lady strikes a bicycle after cutting off the road

The horrifying moment a cyclist was flung from his bike when a BMW cut a lane and struck him was caught on dashcam footage. Last December, the 20-year-old man was struck by a silver BMW SUV that attempted to turn left onto Springvale Road when he was riding down Princes Highway in South Melbourne. The video, taken on Dec. 18, 2022 but released Monday, came from the cars onboard camera directly behind the cyclist and captured the exact moment the cyclist was thrown into the air. The 66-year-old lady who was driving the BMW was ultimately fined and charged by the police for not yielding. For observation, the biker was brought to the hospital.
