A deadly shooting at a park in Las Cruces

A shooting in Young Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Friday night left three persons dead and fifteen injured. Two suspects were taken into custody by the police: a 17-year-old child and Tomas Rivas, 20. The charge against both is three counts of open murder, which allows for varying qualifiers. The victims that passed away are Dominick Estrada (19), Jason Gomez (13), and Andrew Madrid (16). There were about 200 individuals there, several of whom were struck by crossfire. More than fifty bullet casings were found.
