A former soldier uses his military vehicle to sow mayhem in a community
Description:
Geoff Marshall, a 41-year-old former soldier, drove a 2.5-ton military vehicle over a police checkpoint in a quiet community, causing mayhem. Damages from this conduct are estimated to be €310,000. In addition to damaging his wife's Range Rover and a lamppost, he fled the police following a fight with his partner. Marshall received a 12-month jail term for criminal damage and hazardous driving after acknowledging that he was behaving in an emotional condition.
