On March 13, 2025, a neighborly argument in Mangalore, India, descended into violence. The 69-year-old Satish Kumar intentionally collided with his neighbor Murali Prasad's motorcycle with his vehicle. Surveillance cameras recorded the collision. A onlooker who was flung into a wall sustained a severe leg injury, while Prasad, who was just mildly hurt, escaped the worst. Kumar's car was confiscated and he was detained for attempted murder. The neighborhood was taken aback by the episode, which demonstrated the extent to which a disagreement may escalate.
