According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, a Ukrainian soldier uses U.S.-provided Javelin missiles to successfully destroy five Russian tanks in a single day. The pivotal clash occurred during a Russian assault against Ukraine's 79th Airborne Brigade in the eastern Donetsk area, close to the village of Maryinka. Since the start of the Russian incursion last February, the United States has been providing Ukraine with javelin missiles, a potent and transportable anti-tank weapon.
