A Ring security camera captured a U.S. marshal hitting a restrained prisoner in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident involving members of its multi-agency Gulf Coast Regional Task Force (GCRTF) in Mississippi is known to the U.S. Marshals Service, which also states it takes any claims of wrongdoing by its employees or task force partners seriously. A neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed that when police knocked down the house's door, he was awoken. He said the suspects were shackled during the encounter and were beaten and drugged by the marshals. The house was allegedly looted by the authorities as well.
