A worker demolishes the newly remodeled bathroom

On camera, a furious contractor destroyed his own work. The homeowner apparently refused to pay the worker, so after hours of renovation, the worker ultimately wiped him out. According to the homeowner, Amber Trucke, she paid $3,300 of the $7,500 cost and was holding off on paying the remaining balance until the job was finished. According to Trucke, "you don't go into someone's house and destroy it." According to a statement released by Dream Home Remodels of Colorado, our business seized (read: totally damaged) the tiled shower because of a breakdown in communication. This is not a common procedure and has never occurred before.
