After a pit bull assaults a puppy, the owner refuses to have the dog sedated

Two dogs got into a fight in Croydon, south London, and armed cops arrived. A huge bull-type dog is said to have attacked a puppy close to a Sainsbury's shop on High Street on Sunday afternoon at around 1:50 pm. Police officers were restrained while laying on the ground after the attacking dog's owner, who was reportedly inebriated, attempted to stop them from executing their duties. The Metropolitan Police reported that the dog owner had been arrested and that the animal had been seized. There were eight police officers present at the incident.
