Description:
On August 16, 2021, a guy records himself crossing Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia and finds that it is populated by zombies—or more accurately, heroin (opiate) users. The Covid issue has significantly worsened the drug problem in the United States, which had steadied for a few years. Problems with addiction have skyrocketed since the outbreak. It is simple for someone in such circumstance to declare to themselves, "I'm going to take something that relieves, that keeps me from getting depressed," after losing their job or experiencing a lockdown. The opiate epidemic was the primary issue facing public health services prior to the pandemic, but now Covid has taken over the state entirely. The epidemic is preventing many drug users from receiving treatment or assistance.
