Defendant Deobra Delone Redden assaulted Judge Mary Kay Holthus in a Las Vegas courtroom. Redden abruptly sprang over the dock to attack her just as she was about to condemn him for attempted assault with severe bodily injury. Over 3 million people saw the incident's footage after it went viral. While trying to step in, a bailiff was also hurt. Redden, a repeat offender, is currently being charged with more serious offenses related to the assault.
