Description:

In a jungle in Indonesia, workers were accosted by members of an indigenous tribe called Hongana Manyawa. Two tribal members are seen menacing the workers on camera while brandishing spears. When a bulldozer driver starts up his motor, the two men run away, but one of them seems like he's about to hurl a machete at them. The director of Survival International, Caroline Pearce, said the video is proof of a continuing human rights crisis. In contravention of international law, which mandates the free, prior, and informed permission of the tribe for any industrial project on their land, she draws attention to the fact that mining firms are unlawfully abusing the Hongana Manyawa's area.
