In Canada, a journalist gets detained for just posing a question to a minister

After trying to interview Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland over the government's decision to not designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization, Rebel News journalist David Menzies was taken into custody. When Menzies went to interrogate Minister Freeland, a policeman apprehended him. The policeman was seen blocking Menzies' way on footage of the event. Menzies was detained and charged with assault, although he denied the accusations.
