New water pipelines in Gaza were built with EU funding, but Hamas has taken control of the pipes and is using them to produce rockets. A Telegraph story claims that more than 30 miles of pipes have been put in place. The conversion of these pipelines into missiles is demonstrated in videos made public by Hamas. The pipes are taken out of the ground, chopped, processed, and cleaned in workshops. After that, warheads with explosives are affixed, allowing Hamas to manufacture a sizable quantity of rockets without requiring extensive industrial infrastructure.
