New York helicopter disaster that kills a Spanish family
Description:
Near Manhattan's Pier 40, a helicopter fell into the Hudson River. A Spanish couple and their three kids were among the six passengers. Witnesses said that the chopper crashed into the lake after disintegrating in midair. Nobody survived the hit because it was so severe. The 36-year-old pilot and Siemens executive Agustín Escobar were among the dead. The crash's precise reason is yet unknown.
