Russia is growing more resentful. A coup attempt is planned in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don by the infamous Yevgeny Prigozhin, a mercenary boss and former Putin pal, who is thinking about getting vengeance for damages Moscow has caused. Arriving from Ukraine, his troops reportedly occupied the town without encountering any opposition. Social media users are sharing pictures of soldiers positioned near the Interior Ministry building and military headquarters. According to Russian defense expert Rob Lee, there are up to 300 Wagner fighters in Rostov. In the meanwhile, some locals who are connected to the performance appear to be disregarding the government's instructions to stay at home.
