Eight individuals were hurt in a gunshot that occurred in Chicago's River North neighborhood on Sunday morning. Hours before the Chicago Marathon began, at roughly 2:30 a.m., the event happened close to West Erie and North Orleans streets. A physical altercation near Blum Restaurant and Bar served as the catalyst for the altercation. A woman with a wound to her stomach and a man who was shot in the head are among the four casualties in serious condition.
