Description:

The second-largest suspension bridge in Norway was just opened, costing a total of $96 million. The biggest bridge in the Arctic Circle is the Halogaland Bridge, which is 1,533 meters long. Two towers that are 172 and 175 meters tall support the construction. It is situated in the northern Norwegian port city of Narvik and opened to traffic on December 9. The Chinese organization SRBG (Sichuan Road and Bridge Construction Group) was given the task of building the construction. Additionally, a sizable crowd attended the bridge's opening in spite of the bitter weather.
