People with impairments are marginalized and even ridiculed in our communities. However, for Anu, a 7-year-old English girl, this is not the case. Anu may rely on her family's support to feel good about herself because her right leg was amputated not long after she was born. She is eager to display her new prosthesis to her school pals after obtaining it. They offer Anu great embraces, all moved to see their buddy again. And they wind up enjoying themselves together in a Birmingham school's playground. Anu is happy and doesn't feel rejected because of her pals.
