Widespread altercation in Westhoughton following a soccer game
Description:
After Bolton Wanderers defeated Wigan Athletic 4-0 in a soccer match, a violent incident broke out in Westhoughton, Greater Manchester. Up to fifty individuals were involved in the fight, which got so bad that one man had to be taken to the hospital. After being taken into custody, two males were eventually freed on bond. After these incidents, a dispersion order was issued, which forbade these people from coming back to Westhoughton for 48 hours. Witnesses are being asked to help Greater Manchester Police identify the culprits as they continue their investigations.
