A police officer throws an inebriated illegal immigrant to the ground
Description:
Officer Michael Meraz arrested Omar Ortiz, 23, for a number of minor infractions, including failing to stop at a stop sign and red light, striking a car, and causing an accident that resulted in injuries while under the influence of alcohol. In order to handle the situation with this difficult person who was apparently unable to speak English, Meraz had to swing Ortiz to the ground using a pelvic balancing method. Ortiz is now sought for not showing up for court after abruptly speaking English after feigning ignorance of it.
