Because a white police officer dared to taser him, he demands an inquiry
Description:
Delane Gordon, a working delivery driver, is stopped by the police after receiving a speeding violation. However, the stop goes poorly. Gordon informs the officer that he doesn't understand why he is being asked to exit his car. He reiterates that all of this is foolish and that there is no justification for taser threats. The motorist refuses to get out of the car despite the policeman's repeated requests during this period. The driver continues to fight the officer's attempts to eject him from the car, refusing to move from his seat. The officer then chooses to deploy his taser after these repeated denials. Gordon and his attorney claim that the non-lethal weapon's usage in this case would have been abusive and connected to the fact that the police officer is white and the driver is Black. What are your thoughts?
