After forcing a border checkpoint, a driver is shot
Description:
At the Dutch-German border, close to Bunde and Bad Nieuweschans, a 54-year-old man attempted to get out of a checkpoint. Bad idea: the German police opened fire, hitting the hood alone with almost twenty bullets and piercing the bodywork of his car. He was taken into custody following a chase. In the process of seizing his car, a female officer was hurt. Whether he was carrying anything unlawful or the reason behind his escape are unknown.
