Description:
California resident Joseph Gerdvil, 41, is accused of murdering his parents before indulging in a macabre spectacle. After finding the lifeless bodies of Ronald, 77, and Antoinette Gerdvil, 79, police caught Joseph singing a Tina Turner song in the middle of the road, holding an unidentified object. Despite warnings, the man kept moving, prompting the police to open fire. Wounded but still lucid, Joseph then asked the police to complete his ordeal. The reason for these murders remains, for the moment, unknown. One neighbor revealed that a family argument had broken down the day before, and another mentioned a drug problem with Joseph.
