By holding a poster in front of Auschwitz and accusing Israel of establishing the biggest death camp in history, Polish artist Igor Dobrowolski stirred much controversy. He asserts on the opposite side of his sign that Israel is treating Palestinians in the same way as the Germans treated Jews. On his back, Dobrowolski also carried a Palestinian flag. This gesture caused a great deal of indignation, especially because it shockingly connected Israeli conduct to Nazi crimes.
