Even if Israel is more specifically at war with Hamas than Palestine, it is never a good idea to protect the other nation while you are at war with them. The police visited these ultra-Orthodox Jews because they had Palestinian flags flying from their home, despite their opposition to the state of Israel (a contradiction, you would say). And some of them didn't have a good ending.
