It came really close. On Sunday, the Los Angeles Police Department made public video of police rescuing a wounded pilot just before a train struck his downed aircraft. Rescue crews are seen removing the pilot from the plane on the footage of the disaster, which happened in Pacoima, California, at approximately 2:00 p.m., shortly before a speeding train collides forcefully with the aircraft.
