At the Perth airport, a passenger uses a pen to attack cops

Amy-Lee Botefuhr, a 34-year-old traveler on a Jetstar aircraft from Sydney to Perth, was accused of being unruly and refusing to buckle up. Federal police pulled her from the plane when it landed. She allegedly used a pen concealed beneath her clothing to assault two police officers during the intervention, wounding one in the arm and neck and the other in the face. Botefuhr was taken into custody as the wounded cops received medical attention. She faces up to 13 years in jail on multiple charges. Until her hearing on January 31, she is still being held.
