Because of Mumbai's extreme noise pollution, authorities have forced to act swiftly. In order to do this, traffic lights have been fitted that, when the horn blasts hit 85 dB, prolong their length by 90 seconds. Drivers relax on their own because they are afraid of spending longer time at the lights.
