An onboard camera in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China, recorded a scammer in the act of staging an automobile collision. When the driver indicated that the camera was present, it would seem that the person left the area. It appears that the rising prevalence of these devices is making it harder and harder to perpetrate this kind of fraud.
