Prison guards accused of killing a shackled prisoner
Description:
The murder of 43-year-old prisoner Robert Brooks has been filed against New York prison officials. He was severely pummeled while his wrists were bound behind his back, according to bodycam footage. The incident was deemed disgusting by Governor Kathy Hochul, who promptly started the process of terminating the cops responsible. On December 10, one day after being sent to Marcy Prison, Brooks passed away in Wynn Hospital in Utica. With evidence of neck compression, the autopsy determined that murder was the cause of death.
