Several people tumble into the ocean after a portion of the Santa Cruz pier falls

Several individuals were killed when a sizable portion of the Santa Cruz wharf in California crashed into the ocean. A third worker managed to swim to land, but two needed lifeguard help. Two were admitted to the hospital. The Bay Area's National Weather Service warns residents to avoid the ocean due to the potential for 60-foot waves.
