Description:

In the crowded streets of Manhattan, close to Hudson Yards, a construction crane caught fire and crashed, injuring six people. The crane collapsed and 16 tons of concrete fell onto the sidewalk as a result of a fire that heated a concrete-carrying wire. The fire spread 500 feet above the city and was put out by more than 200 firemen. The crane's owner, a New Jersey-based business, was previously engaged in a deadly accident in 2008.
