Description:

The American army's most unique transport aircraft, the Boeing-Bell V-22 Osprey, was put into service on December 8, 2005. It can, in fact, take off and land vertically, much like a helicopter, thanks to its tilt rotors. The aircraft can land anywhere it wants, in this case on aircraft carriers and helicopter ships, and costs between $75 and $125 million per unit.
