The Paris knife assault led to the arrest of a French-Iranian terrorist
Description:
Following a knife assault close to the Eiffel Tower, 26-year-old Franco-Iranian terrorist Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab was taken into custody. After being found guilty of terrorist conspiracy in 2016, Rajabpour-Miyandoab was freed in 2020 to receive therapy for mental health issues. He was known to have ties to other terrorists and to still be interested in bombs and international problems involving Muslims, even after taking part in a deradicalization program. A German-Filipino tourist was killed in the incident, while a Briton and a third person were injured.
