When a burglar poses as a package delivery man, they deprive a household

Sometimes, security cameras might have an impact. Last Friday, a guy posing as a delivery man tried to break into a house in East Haven, Connecticut. But the Ring-enabled doorbell at the house stopped him. Wearing an orange security vest and carrying a parcel in one hand, 37-year-old Xavier Otero was captured on camera approaching the house. Otero, however, took a revolver out of his pocket as the homeowner answered the door. Otero had to leave after the homeowner fired back. Police were able to apprehend Otero and his accomplice, Jean Carrasquillo-Torres, 26, who was preparing another heist, thanks to social media footage.
