In Mesa, Arizona, a 32-year-old man named DeAndre Terrell Johnson attacked a child welfare official following a heated argument. The event, which was streamed live on Facebook, showed Johnson and the employee debating grave charges against him for an hour. Johnson strangled him at the conclusion of the meeting and said, "You're a dead man." He kept his grip till the worker passed out in spite of the spectators' protests. After escaping, Johnson was taken into custody. The seriously injured worker lived.
