Description:

At 7:00 p.m. on May 15, Kianna Dorsey contacted 911 to report that her granddaughter had stopped breathing. Nick St. Onge, an officer from Marietta, Georgia, was close by and arrived promptly. The infant was already becoming blue, so he took care of him right away. He struck her chest and back many times. The infant miraculously resumed breathing. The girl was brought to the hospital by emergency personnel. The entire family and his superiors congratulated Officer Onge, who served in the Marine Corps for nine years and the police department for five.
