After removing barbed wire to assist migrants, border police came under fire
Description:
Five Border Patrol officers broke razor wire and assisted migrants in entering the United States in a startling event that was recorded close to Eagle Pass, Texas. After aggressively removing the razor wire and cutting it with what looked like bolt cutters, the agents assisted a large number of migrants in climbing an embankment. After that, the agents assisted ladies in taking their kids up the bank, even covering the wire with fabric to keep them safe. Following the reinstallation of the razor wire along the Rio Grande by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, several measures were taken.
