Belmont Gardens is no longer the quiet community it was in the middle of the day. Two people just jumped out of a car and viciously assaulted a man. This was not a singular occurrence. Following a single night in which four victims were targeted by male factors in several areas, including Jefferson Park, Logan Square, Avondale, and Belmont Gardens, Chicago police are on high alert. Armed and hostile, they made their victims surrender their possessions. They fired and struck one of them with a rifle as he protested. Be careful.
