In Birmingham, 28-year-old Shaheeb Hussain was found dozing off in his car while tape covered his license plate. Even with tasers aimed at him, he fiercely retreated, woke up abruptly, and refused to comply when the police arrived. He rushed ahead, barely evading an officer, and collided with three police cars and another vehicle. As he sped up, a police officer struck his glass with a baton. When questioned following the race, Hussain uttered a dumb, dumb, innit? In addition to a 22-week jail term and a further 5-year suspension, he was already prohibited from driving until 2027.
