Description:
For couples from all over the world who traveled to Paris to place a padlock on the Pont des Arts, this was a major letdown. The city made the decision to take all of the padlocks off the bridge for security concerns. Paris City Hall said that the total weight of the removed padlocks was about 45 tons.
