One person is killed and twenty are injured when a Tesla crashes into Paris

On December 11, 2021, an off-duty taxi driver apparently lost control of his Tesla when he and his wife and kids were in Paris' 13th district. The vehicle involved was seen speeding just prior to the collision in the footage, which was captured by a restaurant's security camera. According to reports, the driver struck two pedestrians before hurling a glass container into the air, which burst on the ground as a result of the impact from the speed. After hitting a traffic light, the car was flung into the air as well. It ended up in the center of the intersection in a passing van. Twenty people were hurt and one person died in the disaster. Although the manufacturer has guaranteed that it has not yet identified any mechanical issues, the driver indicated that his brake pedal failed.
