There were violent occurrences at the May Day march in Paris. A Molotov cocktail injured at least two police officers. According to reports, one of them had second-degree burns, particularly to the face and torso. Firecrackers and missiles were hurled at the police during the pre-procession, which heightened tensions at the beginning of the demonstration. Additionally, a number of businesses were vandalized.
