During a lecture by Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA (a conservative organization that, among other things, lists left-wing professors), a group of protesters, including members of Antifa and LGBTQ activists, were arrested for damaging university property on Tuesday at the University of California, Davis. This happened just hours after Gary S. May, the university director, referred to Kirk as a hate monger and urged students to undermine and reject Turning Point USA's presence on campus. Videos depict demonstrators breaking windows while holding banners that read "Queers Bash Back" (queer anarchist cell network).
