Before taking flight, an Italian customs helicopter crashes
Description:
A helicopter operated by the Guardia di Finanza, the Italian financial and customs police, crashed on takeoff near Bolzano in the morning of Saturday, March 27. The plane started to spin about and then flipped over, as shown in these pictures. Fortunately, none of the passengers were seriously hurt. The aircraft, an Agusta Westland AW169, had been bought a year prior and was valued at 10 million euros.
