A guy can be seen igniting towels and flinging them at cardboard box stacks on security footage. Nguyen Bui, Jenny's husband, was taken into custody after the incident and is currently facing arson charges. The fire originated in the middle of the store, according to the FDNY. According to reports, Nguyen said his wife's pressure caused him to lose it. The initial plan was for the salon to debut on October 27. Jenny was unable to receive insurance benefits after the tragedy, so she started a GoFundMe campaign.
