Description:

This is the poignant moment of the day... A number of police officers from Humboldt County gave a set of corrective spectacles as a surprise to their colorblind coworker. When Officer Jeff Dishmon, who his coworkers call "Grandpa," saw color for the first time, he couldn't contain his emotions. The man thanked his donors, shedding a few tears. Additionally, he declared that he and his spouse would now be able to enjoy sunsets together.
