Pigs are mistreated at a British slaughterhouse with an anti-animal-violence label before being killed

This shocking video shows workers at the C&K Meats slaughterhouse, which is accredited by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, mistreating pigs. Before killing them, they stress them out by hitting them with paddles. The Animal Justice Project (AJP), which captured the covert footage, also documented symptoms of animal abuse, including the pigs' poor hygiene and obvious discomfort. Advocates for Animals and AJP are calling for the slaughterhouse, which was founded more than 40 years ago, to close immediately. AJP contends that efforts are continuously focused on murdering animals as soon as they reach the slaughterhouse, notwithstanding C&K Meats' insistence on its dedication to animal care.
